Appetiser sandwiches

Ingredients ():
  • 200 g fresh cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 8 slices of white bread, without crust
  • 50 g corn salad
  • 32 boiled mussels (shelled)
  • 4 tablespoon of chives, finely chopped
  • 16 cocktail sticks

Appetiser sandwiches

Ingredients ():
  • 200 g fresh cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 8 slices of white bread, without crust
  • 50 g corn salad
  • 32 boiled mussels (shelled)
  • 4 tablespoon of chives, finely chopped
  • 16 cocktail sticks
  1. Mix the cream cheese with the mayonnaise into a creamy spread. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread half of the bread with half of the herb spread.
  2. Cover the spread slices with the corn salad and the mussels. Lay the rest of the bread on top.
  3. Cut the sandwiches diagonally, twice. Sprinkle the chives onto a plate
  4. Spread one side of each sandwich with the rest of the herb spread and press in the chives. Use a cocktail stick to hold it together.

    Tip For a lighter appetiser, replace the cream cheese and mayonnaise with dairy spread. E.g. with chives or paprika and herbs.
